Leading Energy supported the architect Andrew Kirby of AK Architects Ltd with renewable energy feasibility options, SAP energy assessments, heating system design advice, budget costings - all individually designed to suit each householder.
The houses were built from strawbales produced locally with design features to optimise energy from solar gain and use of sustainable building materials.
